It Started With Christmas Trees ! – Day 1 October Challenge

While I was making yesterdays Christmas Tree Earrings it gave me an idea for a pair of super easy to wear little earrings that are a cross between studs and hoops.

how to make easy earrings

Use chain nose or flat pliers to make a right angle bend where you put the pen mark

Hammer the curve (remember to keep the bead off your hammering block – you should use goggles when doing this)

You can cut the balled wires shorter (about 2cm) , curve the whole wire and make the right angle bend a few mm after the ball to make these very cute tiny slip in studs.

There – now rush out and show all your friends !  They are super cute and easy to wear (I’m wearing mine as I type) but if you don’t want to make your own I’ll make them for you for £4 a pair !  Usual postage – £1.50 per order or free for orders over £20 – Great Christmas stocking or Secret Santa gift.

Today I’m experimenting with a paper border punch and the rolling mill as well as making 55 pairs of ear wires for an order so remember to follow my blog for automatic updates or visit me tomorrow to see what I make with this:-
